CLEVELAND, Ohio - Three new pieces of public art produced for the FRONT International Cleveland Triennial this summer will help change the visual personality of downtown and University Circle, and establish the big exhibition's presence outside the walls of art museums and other venues.

FRONT unveiled plans for the artworks Friday at a meeting of the city's planning commission, which unanimously approved the projects. The artists involved are Virginia Overton, of New York; Odili Odita of Philadelphia; and Kay Rosen of Chicago.
